Will a US iMac work in Spain with just a power cord change?

We have a late 2015 iMac currently running Monterey 12.7.6. I do not think it will take another operating system update. We are working on a move to Spain and I need to decide if I take this iMac with or replace it prior to the move with a new MacBook.

The question is; will this US spec iMac from late 2015 function in Spain with a change of power cord or will I need to use a converter and plug the iMac into the converter? I am hoping it is compatible with just a cord change and I can concern myself with the replacement once we arrive in Spain.

Thanks

Thanks all. I thought that it was multi voltage but wanted to make sure. I will buy an adapter and then I can purchase a new MacBook and retire this old girl after we are settled. Thanks again.

As other replies have already stated, and the tech specs show multi-voltage:

A different power cord is needed. I’d skip any power adapters, particularly if the adapters also try to change voltages. That’ll work certainly, but a different cord is fewer parts and no voltage conversion is needed here.

If you do decide to buy new in Spain, you can change the language, but you will have to pick either the US English keyboard layout or the Spanish keyboard layout with any laptop or keyboard you buy.

Or if you buy an iMac or mini, you can re-use your current iMac keyboard, if it is still working to your satisfaction. (No Touch ID support on your existing keyboard, though it’ll otherwise work fine.)

As an example of the keyboard choice, here is the US Apple Store iMac keyboard selector, with some of the available keyboards shown:

Consider your warranty coverage, too: AppleCare coverage may be declined in another country or region, for instance.

Actually the Apple online store in Spain offers what looks like the same iMac keyboard choice as the US Store, I see over 15 languages.

Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass sie eine deutsche Tastatur haben wollten. 😉
