Why is 'Type to Siri' the default keyboard shortcut and unable to be changed to 'Talk to Siri'?

I have a USB microphone and enjoyed using the keyboard shortcut to summon Siri and speak my commands; now, on 15.1 after enabling Apple Intelligence I can only 'Type to Siri' with the keyboard shortcut. Is there any way to change this? I was hoping for a more conversational, verbal Siri but now I have to use the mouse and click the microphone to start it.

Using a third-party keyboard (8bitdo retro), not an Apple keyboard.

Mac mini, macOS 15.1

PSA for anyone who's interested.

You can change the Siri Keyboard Shortcut activation to "Globe + S" and the option of "Talk to Siri" is restored. This can be enabled by a long press of the "Globe + S" shortcut.

For anyone who doesn't have a keyboard with the Globe key (...), you can remap this key within the Keyboard settings under System Settings, then Modifier Keys. You will have to sacrifice one of your main modifiers. I gave up my Caps Lock key but I am able to summon Siri again by long-pressing "Caps Lock + S".

Not ideal but better than nothing.
