apple custom model mpns dont look correct
a custom configuration macbook pro would be something like Z1FW3LL/A but ive seen mpns like Z1FW001AB. why are they like this.

Trailing characters like LL/A usually indicate localization, but a BTO/CTO model may not follow that pattern. Where did you buy it and what options were ordered?

However, I used their lookup function and it could not find an exact match.
To get an official translation you probably need to ask Apple, and they will not see your question in this user-to-user forum.
ive seen an mpn of a macbook online where it had an mpn of something like Z1FW001AB which doesnt look like a normal apple mpn.
so if you get a device from apple it will be like Z1FW3LL/A and if you buy it from some places, it will be Z1FW001AB
