Custom Timestamps for Song Endings Not Working

Under the Get Info section of a song on Apple Music, you have the ability to set a custom timestamp for a song to end (and to start) which I've used in the past in iTunes with no issues. For some reason the custom timestamps I set on songs don't work in the macOS Apple Music app. Songs will reach the end of the new playback bar and then continue anyway. The weird thing is, the custom ending syncs to Apple Music on my iPhone but doesn't work directly in the Mac version.
