Monitor for iMac-mini

I am replacing a 2019 intel iMac with an M4 Mac-mini. The Mac-mini is on order and I have bought a 32"; Samsung M80 monitor. Before buying, when I checked with the Samsung online chat bot, I was assured that the monitor and Mac mini were compatible. I have since read that they may not work together. Should I return the monitor and get something else? Anybody had success with this pairing? Any tips or steers gratefully received.
