Potential Apple Support scam via text

I received a text from someone claiming to be Apple Support stating that they stopped a suspicious purchase of $143.00 and asked me to call them at 877-xxx-xx23 and failing to do so would lead to auto charges. Anyone else with this kind of text? Seems like a scam.

It's absolutely a scam.

However, you should still call your bank and double-check. Sometimes they will hack your account and run through a few small charges. Then they call or text you, pretending to be your bank, and ask if those charges are legitimate. The idea is to get more of your information so they can totally empty your account.
