Daisy chain with 2k monitors

Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro (2023) with an M3 processor, and I want to buy 2 x Dell P2423DE monitor with a 2K resolution (2560x1440).

Since the monitor supports Daisy Chain technology, can I connect two monitors using DC and achieve the maximum 2K resolution on both? Or is the resolution limited to FHD (1920x1080), as I’ve read somewhere that this might be a limitation when using Daisy Chain?

Macs do not support DisplayPort MST daisy-chaining, or connecting two displays to a plain USB-C hub or dock.

Your tag line says that you have a 16”

MBP, which suggests that it has a M3 Pro or M3 Max processor, and can drive at least two displays over USB-C or Thunderbolt with the lid open, and thus would be able to drive two monitors connected to a Thunderbolt hub or dock.
