WiFi Router crashes when toggling LEDs using Apple Home

Hello,

When i toggle my lights or switch the color of my LED Strip, the whole internet in my whole house is breaking down. After 5 minutes or more the internet works again. This comes everytime when i manage the LEDs via the Apple Home App.

Phone: iPhone 15 Pro Max

LEDs: Meross MSL320 PRO

WiFi Router (main): Telekom Speedport

WiFi Router (device [LED and Phone] is connected to): Asus Tuf AX3000 V2

(yes, both router crashes, the ASUs one requires a Lan connection to the main WiFi router to get internet access)

i have also limited the bandwidth:

Hey,

thanks for posting it in the Apple Community.

Since this occurs only when you are using Apple Home and not the App provided by the manufacturer, could you test and verify which Connection Method the App is using (WiFi or Bluetooth)?

Manufacturer App works fine as of now. Only apple home is making issues. Sinc i dont have any other MFI or HomeKit certified devices i cant test if its only on that product.
