OK letty146, let’s start with basic info, eg a model number, which you should be able to find on the outside/underside of your Mac… it starts with “A” then 4 numbers, eg “AXXXX” there have been many models and kinds of MacBookPro’s made over the years.. that you can post here.., everymac.com can be helpful, please don’t post your Serial Number here
