Studio Display dims whenever video player is visible

I have a Mac Studio Display that dims the screen whenever a video player, such as Apple TV or IINA, is visible on any attached screen (not just the Studio Display).

The video player doesn’t need to be playing; it’s enough for it to be visible. A few seconds after the player is closed or minimized, the screen gradually returns to its normal brightness.

This happens regardless of whether True Tone and automatic brightness are enabled or disabled.

Does anyone know how to prevent this?
