Magnetic mask is offset with compound clips where cinematic mode is turned on
Mornin' (here in UTC+6). Found a weirdness in the magnetic mask as it applies to compound clips (CC) and iPhone 13 footage with Cinematic Mode (CM). The first image is from a CC with CM turned on. The mask is about 50 pixels off right. Image 2 is CM off (after going into the CC) editing the CC. Image 3 is going into the CC with CM off. Image 4 is going into the CC with CM ON. In summary, using a magnetic mask on a CC in which the original clip has CM turned on results in an offset mask. The mask works fine with the original media whether on not CM is on
So my conclusion is that something goofy is happening, at least on my machine, (MBP 18" M1) with magnetic masks within compound clips and with cinematic mode turned on.
So my workflow has to change a bit. Nothing fatal.
Anybody else find this?
1. Cinematic on, from a compound clip
2. Cinematic off, from compound clip
3. Cinematic off, editing the original media.
4. Cinematic ON, editing the original media.
