Random playing of music on HomePod mini returns

Following the latest update to HomePod mini a problem playing music tracks has returned. Asking Siri to play 'something I like' will happily play for about 20 minutes then stop without warning, restart about 30 seconds into a different track then stop playing and restart that track from the beginning. The sequence of events has been reported by other users in the past but it resolved itself only to return with the latest update which was around October 2024.
