iCloud won’t let me accept conditions, all of my photos got deleted

Like many others, I’m unable to accept the terms and conditions for the iCloud update. Since then, I’ve had all kinds of unusual issues like my photos not loading and saying they’re indexing and things not syncing to my phone. The biggest issue just happened tonight. 20,000+ photos just disappeared from my phone and are not in recently deleted. I don’t know if this has to do with iCloud too but it has never happened before and I don’t know how to resolve it.

If you looked in Recently Deleted on your iPhone, but haven't looked in iCloud:

The article below may help you recover missing photos from iCloud.

If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"On iCloud.com

  1. Go to iCloud.com, then sign in to your Apple Account.
  2. Tap or click Photos.
  3. Select Recently Deleted in the sidebar. If you don’t see the sidebar, tap or click the Show Sidebar button in the upper-left corner.

4. Select a photo, then tap or click Recover."
