MacBook Air will not connect to any Samsung TV

My MacBook Air will not connect to Samsung TVs using HDMI, but connects fine to every other brand. I use a USBC to HDMI cable for the connection. I travel to businesses to provide training that requires video. It is super frustrating when I can't connect. I have read several other message boards with others experiencing the same problem, when attempting connection with Samsung. Has anyone found a way around this issue?
