How to record plugin automation into the loop cells, *not* the tracks
Can someone please tell me how to record plugin automation into the loop cells in Live? No matter what I do, it always ends up getting written to the track instead of the loop grid. And then it won’t even let me copy the automation over to the cell. All I can do is manually draw in the automation, which is a tedious process. I can't believe that I'm sitting here drawing in individual breakpoints just to recreate the automation that I had already recorded live.
Check out this video -- I can't believe how unintuitive this is, compared to something like Ableton Live.
