Missing notes on iPhone 8
What happened to my saved notes on my iPhone as I did not delete them?

Doesn't always work unless you are 18.1. The best route is get Apple to figure it out.

Open Settings App
Tap your name at the top
Tap iCloud
Tap Notes and turn the switch on, but if on, turn it off, then of again. Notes will be redownloaded
