I got a new phone yesterday but it did not back up my old phone beforehand, how can I still do that with the screen on my old phone being broken. The old phone turns on but the screen is completely frozen and I cant get into the old Iphone to back it up one last time. How can I do so?

You likely can’t. If you were backing up to iCloud, and haven’t restarted the device, you can leave it connected to power and walk away for a few hours. It may still make a iCloud backup.
