Macbook pro 15.1. While not using a VPN opening google maps defaults to D.C. although using chrome. Have tried all the location services I can think of. I live in Greece and my IP address is here in Athens as it should be. Worked fine up until a month ago. I would open google maps and bingo it was displaying Athens.

What do you mean by "although using chrome"?
This is a technical support site for users of Apple products. If you are using Chrome or a Google web site, then you'll have to complain to Google. I wouldn't get my hopes up. Google really doesn't care about incorrect information on Google web sites.
