Requesting Guidance and Insights on Recurring Trackpad Cracks in MacBook Air M2 Devices

Hello Apple Community,

In our organization, we are currently managing more than 200 Mac devices, and recently we have encountered a recurring issue specifically with the MacBook Air M2 models. So far, five of these devices have developed cracks on their trackpads. As the system administrator, I have thoroughly inspected each of these Macs to confirm that there was no physical damage, external impact, or mishandling.

However, when we submitted these devices to our nearby iPlanet Service Centre for repair, we were informed that the cracks were deemed to be caused by physical damage and thus would not be covered under warranty.

We are reaching out to understand if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with the MacBook Air M2 models and whether this could be a known defect or manufacturing issue. We would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed, as well as any recommendations for obtaining warranty coverage for this matter.

Thank you in advance for your insights.
