Accepting iCloud Terms and Conditions erased Notes updates

Hello, I was wondering if someone knew how to fix the following problem.

I accepted the new iCloud Terms & Conditions and found my notes disappeared, but recovered them by turning sync on. However, the sync only retrieved versions that are outdated- extremely, in some cases. Two Notes of mine in particular are updated weekly, yet the newly synced versions show iterations from 2022 and 2023.

Does anyone know how to retrieve the updated copies? The information I lost is extremely upsetting.
