Family sharing app approvals not working

We’re unable to approve purchase requests for my daughter iPad. The requests come through iMessage. I’ve updated and checked all the settings and all the possible fixes and it still won’t work. Recently upgraded my phone to the 16 pro from the 11 max Pro.

I click review the request in iMessage and nothing happens. I also see an option to approve the request in person on her iPad and nothing happens when selecting it.

I had to just remove approvals for her to download the 2 arcade games she was wanting. Terrible that this isn’t fixed yet as people were having problems with it in 2023 and it’s still not fixed.
