Website memory heavy.

Macbook Pro M1, Memory 8GB

Sonoma, Safari 17.6

I realise some websites are memory-heavy such as Facebook etc and one or two of my local news accounts.

There is one particular site that I go on, AV Forums, just into the forums.

Even with no other tabs open, the site will sit idle at around 1.10GB and may rise to about 2.

As soon as I try to post or reply to a thread, it jumps right up to 10GB, and then obviously freezes as I have run about of mamror way before that.

Safari won't try to reload the page for a few minutes.

10GB seems a bit excessive.

As usual, Firefox works fine... I like Safari though as my main browser.
