Home Pod 2 won't connect/handover.

I'm really frustrated with my home pod 2, every time I try to connect to it or play music it won't connect.

I end up having to restart it every time, and it's driving me crazy.

I'm with BT with 900mb speed, and its in the same room as the speaker.

If I come in and want to hand off to the speaker, I'll press the airplay symbol at the bottom of the music app, get circle of doom, then message saying 'can not connect' repeat and get the same answer.

I've tried moving my phone closer so it using the NFT that's worked a few times but now I'm getting the same results.

Tried going through the Home app, same problems.

Am I missing something.

Do i need to change router settings?

Really want it to work, or I might ask to return it.
