Update, camera and microphone issues on 2020 MacBook Pro 13"

My MacBook won’t let me get the Sequoia 15.1 Update and after that, when I try to open its camera it starts bugging and connecting and disconnecting with my iPhone's camera, without showing any incorporated camera available. This happens also with my microphone which just keeps turning on and off when opening e.g. FaceTime and Skype. Keep in mind that I already restarted it twice, but not the smc. Please help me asap, because I have it for less than a year and I'm still new to Apple's Ecosystem.

same! mine is doing the same thing - mines a 2020 MBP 16" tho - but it wont let me update, it keeps going to the end of the download and then the fan gets so loud and then it says error - since this happened the first time my webcam doesnt work - it goes on and off constantly and tries to connect to my phone but that goes on and off as well. super unfortunate

Thank you so much for letting me know.I faced the issue by calling Apple Support and they helped so much.I think you should as well!Their service was excellent and their advice solved the problem immediately.What they told me about the update is that if I continue facing this issue,I should use my MacBook on safe mode,to try and download the update,becausr there might be a third party app that blocks it.Also,my MacBook force restared it self and everything came back to normal
