My iphone 16 pro max is only on its 4th cycle of charging!! And the ios 18.1 is draining the battery like crazy!
It’s barely lasting, even when I’m not using it the battery keeps going down!!

I've gotten the 16 Pro (not max). Although efficiency has improved a little bit, and no background processing (indexing) is active, I see a lot of drainage as well, for no reason most of the time.
How do you know that there is no background processing going on?
Usually in settings -> Battery -> it should state that background updating is occurring.
