If an app on your iPhone or iPad isn't working as expected, try this as stated in the apple’s official support page =>

Close and reopen the app:

Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it's working as expected.

Restart your device.

Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it's working as expected.

Check for updates:

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available.

If updates aren’t available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

Reinstall the app:

Delete the app, then re-download it

Delete the app. When you do this, you may lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check whether the problem with the app is fixed.

I hope this fixes your issue as you are trying to play resident evil game, but if it doesn’t help know that apple now allows emulation so you can play the same game using Let me know if you need anymore help! I will be happy to assist as a fellow gamer :)
