“Face ID is not available” error on my iPhone 13

It is. For me Face ID stopped working after updating to iOS 18.1.1.

Hardware is iPhone 13 btw

If Face ID is not available, please update your iPhone to the latest available iOS version. If that is not working, it could be that there are hardware issues with your TrueDepth camera, I am afraid. Please Contact - Official Apple Support to set up hardware service for your device.

Now with official 18.2 it seems to work again

Same thing 13 pro max random times won't open with faceid. or after several tries it works noticed after 18.2. I have reset face id and worked for a day then started acting up again.

kinda same for me after updating to 18.2 but sometimes it still won’t work but then later on the face id will work again

I thinks a blip with the software since the latest update???

Same here, tried everything, 2hr call with Apple support who said no hardware issues but even a factory reset didn’t fix it

I think you need to upgrade ur software
