screen of iphone 16 pro max still lagging?

nooooooooo! Dont do that ! I sold my 16pm today because to much lag and the promotion not 120hz it dropes everywhere all apps tooo much lag in the screen

typing experience on 16 pro max is terrible. it is driving me crazy. apple does not acknowledge or detect the defect so i cannot exchange for another one. i went to apple service center and searched for apple online help but all said that the screen is fine and advised me to fix the problem by removing the screen protector and updating the software. ridiculous. they have not fixed the problem at all even after months, which makes me think the reason is a hardware fault.

There is no defect for Apple to acknowledge. You will have troubleshoot the problem with your phone, not millions of other phones. You can run built-in diagnostics to see if there is a hardware problem→How to put your iPhone in diagnostics mode - Apple Support

I’ve never had any issues typing, and I have 18.1.

Do you have any antivirus or “helper” apps that are supposed to make your device run faster or clean up storage or RAM?

If you have a tight-fitting case and screen saver on it try removing them.

Thank you. i just ran diagnostics. the touch in the bottom left corner of the screen seems to have a hard time recognizing my gestures. have to really try to get it to recognize the touch gesture. the problem is that my phone's touch screen isn't completely broken, it's randomly ignoring touches. sometimes have to press it a few times for it to work.
