I expect the audio chops of the new Mac mini to be similar to any other Mac. You'll want to add external speakers and mic if you do teleconference type work. And as with other Macs in the studio, you can expect to use digital audio equipment via the Thunderbolt/USB connectors.

It's a powerful little box with the same powerful macOS.

The headphone and USB ports have been moved to the front. Other than that, the tech itself has peaked both wireless and wired, so nothing more to add.
