Apple TV not updating "Up Next." Suggested remedies not working.

one of my Apple TVs appears to not be recognizing that I have watched any show or movie. I have tried everything from restart to a complete reset. It appears to work for one show after I unplug it but then back to not working.

Verify that ‘Use Play History’ is still set to active in the settings on the playback device.

Adjust Apple TV app settings on the Apple TV box - Apple Support


Else try signing out of your account for Store services, on the Apple TV box, then immediately sign in again, to refresh the account properties. Then try again.
