Intercom On All HomePods Instead of one

I have 5 HomePods minis and they’re all activated for Intercom. Not sure why, but when I send an intercom to a particular pod, the other pods also receive it. I don’t want this to happen. Any suggestions?

Did this used to work ok before HomePod os 18?

how are you sending to just 1 HomePod?

It started doing this before I updated to 18.1. In order to send to only 1 pod I used to say something like “hey siri intercom kitchen pod…..”
