whenever I click command f on a pdf opened in safari it always freezes and then i go to refresh the page and try to use command f again and then it freezes again and sometimes will stop responding if I refresh multiple times, how can I fix this

Maybe the PDF is too large so Safari froze? I’m not sure of the exact reason, so more information would be helpful.
In any case, I suggest trying to open the PDF in Preview. It’s generally more stable and efficient for handling PDFs, so it should help improve your experience.
