I loaded the Facebook App on my new 10th generation ipad and instead of showing facebook on the app it is showing facebook on the Safari app. Every time I try to load it on the facebook app it says my password is incorrect and wants me to do a new password. How can I get Facebook to load on the Facebook app and stop it from loading on Safari.

Try to use the steps provided in this support article:--> Clear the history, cache, and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch . When done, restart your iPad.
If the issue persists, and/or you get incorrect password error when you try to access your FB account from the app, I suggest that you contact FB developer/support team and ask them.

I thank you for your response. I followed the support article instructions and it went right back to Safari once again. The Facebook app continued to not accept my password. I have followed your other suggestion and contacted Facebook support with my issue. If they fail to get back to me soon, I will completely clear out the whole ipad and start over from scratch. Thanks again for your help.
Go to settings & Privacy, then settings. Go down to Media, then scroll to open in external browser. Turn that on so it will open in its own APP.
