Facetime not working since Sequoia 15.0.1 upgrade

Since the Sequoia upgrade, I cannot make or receive Facetime calls on my iMac. Every time, I get a "Call Failed" message. This happens whether or not I initiate the Facetime video on my iMac or try to switch to the iMac from a call initiated on my iPhone.

RESOLVED (I think). Since I upgraded my iPhone to iOS version 18.1.1, I am again able to take Facetime calls on my iMac. No more "call failed" messages. Yay!

FWIW - have/had same issue with sequoia 15.2- BUT what seems to work for me goes as follows

typical get notify that have a facetime [FT]call via notifications up in right corner- even with FT on.

Go to list on left side of screen where your links are and note a white rectangle similar ' previous' or additional

click on it and you should find the 'accept' or join box-icon . Why apple fubared a simple response like they

used for years is beyond me- maybe due to new apple UNintelligence. Old luddites like me are getting very unhappy with

such changes without notice or warning.

I tried for weeks, could not get it to work. I gave up and called support and for some time they couldn't figure it out either. Then we checked accessibility settings. It somehow was turned on for visibility issues. They told me that sometimes that feature interferes with other features like facetime. After I turned that off it worked fine. Maybe go in your settings and check on that.

2019 iMac Sequoia 15.3.2 iPhone 13 iOS 18.3.2 all latest. Same problem as everyone else. No accessibility turned on, sign out wifi on iMac/iPhone -> reboot route -> sign in wifi again, sign out of icloud and back in etc. Nothing fixes this problem.

One interesting note is the iMac's icloud Devices list also show itself with Find My Mac Off despite it being turn on in Settings->Apple Account->iCloud->See All->Find My Mac with both Find My Mac and Find My Network turned on. This doesn't make sense and I wonder if related to the FT Call Failed problem.
