I have an adapter to connect my MIDI keyboard to my iPad, and it says it needs to do a firmware update but it's taking a long time to do it or not doing it at all. Can you please help me?

What specific adapter do you have? Do the manufacturer's instructions say that the firmware can be updated from an iPad?
