RCS messaging isn't functioning.

Whenever I message my daughter, the RCS isn't working. The message goes through as SMS. For context, I am on the T-Mobile network, while my daughter is on the Verizon network. I know that RCS works in general because when I message my friend on the T-Mobile network, the message goes through as RCS. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro Max. How can I get this to function? Any help would be appreciated.
