Resolving HomePod / Apple TV issues

Tip: if you're having issues with an Apple TV failing to see a HomePod and the Apple TV is connected by Ethernet, unplug it, then do the hard reset of your HomePod. It's magical woo woo, but it's solved the problem for me twice.
