Hello, I tried to airdrop some files to my Mac but the airdrop failed midway. I now have this empty looking files in my downloads folder which when I try to delete give me a warning message (see image below). Is it safe to proceed and delete them?

Yes; if any of them are still listed as being copied in the Finder, cancel that first.
