How to add an NFC card to Apple Wallet?

I can’t make sense of any of this. What does adding After Pay, and looking for an NFC switch have to do with Previous Cards and Apple Pay, which is not a card and will never appear in previous cards?

It’s not dumb, but I don’t know what the question is. What exactly is question and what exactly are you trying to do?
