Apple Smart Keyboard Folio problems since updating to iPadOS 18.0.1

I recently updated two iPads, a 2018 A1980 11” iPad Pro and a 2018 A1876 13” iPad Pro, both with Apple Smart Keyboard Folios. Since the upgrade, both keyboards do no work if you switch from one program to another. You have to physically pull the iPad away from the keyboard, then reseat it to get it working again.


Anyone else seeing anything similar? Rather annoying.
