Dock on more than one screen

Hi,

In Sonoma (Ventura, Monterey, Big Sur, ... and ... ) I had my dock (set to auto-hide) appear on the bottom edge of either the MacBook's builtin screen or the 38" one's when I moved the mouse to the bottom edge of said screen. After the upgrade to Sequioa there's no more dock on the external screen, which is a pain.

Can I please get that back?

It has nothing to do with where the dock “lives“. It no longer works if there is any overlap between displays on that edge. That’s how it worked initially, and then they changed it such that it worked if there was some sort of gap, but only for stacked displays. It has never worked for side-by-side displays when you have the dock on the side
