MacBook Air M2 restart issue.

MacBook Air M2 16Gb Ram, 1Tb SSD.

Problem:

Put to sleep and Immediately wake up will restart the computer with a panic message.

Either:

1) close lid then reopen IMMEDIATELY

2) Select sleep from Mac icon menu then press any key IMMEDIATELY

3) Close lid then plug in charger

4) Allow the computer to sleep but move trackpad to interupt it.

All result is the system hanging unresponsive, no feedback on trackpad press then a restart.

This is repeatable 100% of the time. I’ve read other people with the same issue but no repeatable method.

It’s also the same with Sequoia as was Sonoma.

My biggest issue for usability was when I was reading or moved away and 2 minutes later the screen went off which I immediately reacted to.

It will lock up then restart.

I’ve changed sleep time to 20 minutes so it never happens during the day.

MacBook Air, macOS 15.0
