Attach Pages or Excel file from iMac to iPhone text?
I have Excel and Pages documents on the iMac that I would like to send to my family. How can I attach them to an iPhone text?
The phone is an Xr with IOS 17.7.

Remember that recipients of those texts will require having a compatible version of Pages in order to open the Pages document attachments.
With that said and on the Mac, right-click on a Pages document and from the Finder secondary menu, choose Share… and then Messages. After a small pause, the messages application launches presenting a new message with the Pages document attached and the cursor blinking in the To: field waiting for you to designate the recipient.
