Text tones and ring tones not working on iPhone 14 Pro Max, text tones not working on MacBook Air 2022

Since updating to the most recent IOS on iPhone and MacBook Air, texts are silent. Ringtones are silent on my iPhone.


I tried all the fixes for this problem already suggested. DND is not on, notification settings are correct, volume is up, I hear sounds when testing notification tones. Still, no sound when I get texts.


Seems like this is an ongoing issue for Apple products for years. Super frustrating.


If there are solutions please share!
