There is a folder named miscellaneous on my desktop and it has a bunch of other folders inside it which are all empty. It has been there since a few months and it has not done anything or interfered on my tasks. Whenever i delete it, i keeps coming back. How do i get rid of for good? Pictures of it are attched.

Are you running any of the following thirdparty...
Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus
all known to cause issues on the macOS
Click on the folder and get info and perhaps to see what app it is connected with
You do not need Avast and/or any cleaners

It has been an issue even before i have any third party apps installed. I have installed avast security and cleaner along with a few VPN's a few weeks ago. This has been a problem for months.
