How do I reset the core EFI partition to a new EFI partition?

I had some problems with the boot EFI partition so I decided to create a whole new partition instead, but I don't know how to disable the old GUID EFI partition that comes stock out of the box and move it to the newly made partition..anyone know know to do this? Thanks in advance

There is no reason to make a new EFI (aka ESP) partition. Besides it is a special type of partition.

What is wrong with the original EFI partition? If you installed a non-Apple OS onto your Mac which you no longer want, then all you need to do is delete all folders on that EFI partition except for the "apple" folder. That is all that is needed to keep the Mac from attempting to launch any non-Apple OS.
