Unplayed Apple Podcasts in saved queue are showing played once another one ends

iOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia:

I use a saved queue for my podcasts every day in Apple podcasts, and while I don't have have it set for the next one queued play directly after the one that just finished, it picks another in my list at random and says it's been played without even playing it. This is true across all devices. It would help knowing which one has played whenever I go to delete the download/unsave from my queue.
