Smart garage opener on Home App

We recently added smart garage door openers to our garage. My husband was able to add them to his Home app but for me it’s saying it’s already been added to another account. Is there a way for both of us to have it on our Home app?

Adding people to HomeKit I've seen a lot of similar posts, but nothing that shows how to resolve it. Both myself and the other person are on the same wifi, we both have the same iOS (18.2), and neither of us has the "+" to add a person to a home. This is frustrating because the instructions from Apple show a "+" below the owner. I don't have it. See Screen shot. How do I get past this? Thank you.

HomeKit setup I have set up HomeKit with my Apple ID. I have invited my family members and that’s working fine. Except, my husband has both an iPhone and an iPad. When he accepted his invitation to our home on his phone, it didn’t add his iPad too. I tried sending an invite again thinking it would come to his iPad but no dice. How do I invite his iPad so he can access our home there too?

Home app dont have "add people" button. I am using some smarthome accessories. I want to share home accessories with my wife but i can not share home. Because there is no button like "add people" on my iphone. Also checked my wife's phone, she have it :) The problem is we both cannot control home accessories, just one of us can control it. We both have 14 Plus and have the latest update "16.3.1". Anyone have solution for this?

That would be up to the smart device as to whether it supports multiple access. Check with the manufacturer or peruse the owners manual. The message you received when you tried to add it was from the opener itself.
