Swipe over to the taken pictures in the Photos app becomes dark

Hi everyone, I have noticed that when I take photos, it looks how I want it to once I swipe over to the picture in the photos app, but then it turns dark. Is there a setting I can change to fix this?

Dark mode bug My iphone is set to dark mode but when I am setting a new wallpaper and click on customize the photo gallery opens and displays in light mode and I still haven’t figured out why this happens even though my iOS is the latest version. How do I fix it? I tried manually resetting it to dark mode but it keeps going back to light mode
