Apple Pencil Pro continuously disconnects while drawing

I’ve had the new Apple Pencil pro and I’ve been using it with my iPad 13 pro, and haven’t had an issue until now. While I draw in procreate, the line will skip because of disconnection every other second and it’s driving me crazy, I never had this issue before. It’s beginning to be a problem because I use procreate for work but I can’t work efficiently like this. My screen protector is super thin, I keep my pencil charged always, and the nib is always connected, so I’ve tried troubleshooting a few things but no dice. Any advice that may help?
